A sixteenth-century
listed manor house.
A historic 16th-century listed manor house within a private estate in Rowington, Warwickshire.

Holiday cottages.
Bed and breakfast.
Shakespeare Hall brings together two different ways of staying in Warwickshire: Holiday Cottages around the estate, and Bed-and-Breakfast stays within the main house. The cottages have individual layouts and their own character, while the main house retains its timber framing, leaded windows and historic interiors, dating back to the 16th century.
With over a quarter of a century of owning hospitality businesses, Heidi has spent the past year restoring Shakespeare Hall. Her aim is a warm welcome, thoughtful touches and the freedom for guests to relax and feel at home.

The Shakespeare connection.
On the front of the house are the initials TS and IS and the date 1682, associated with Thomas and Isobelle Shakespeare, believed to have been relatives of William Shakespeare.
Local tradition connects the hall with William Shakespeare and the writing of As You Like It in the small room above the entrance.
Shakespeare Suite includes the adjoining historic study associated with this local tradition.
